Meet the Management Team at Johnsons Coach Travel...
Ashley Brown
Head of Operations
Ashley joined Johnsons at the start of his coaching career back in 2007 as a bus driver, then coach driver then traffic officer, departing in 2012. He returned to Johnsons in October 2022 and last year was appointed Head of Operations. There isn't much Ashley doesn't know about coach operations, or Johnsons in fact!
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys a game of bingo or two - so you may bump into him down the local bingo hall!
John Hatch
Head of Engineering
Allow us to introduce our Head of Engineering, John, the driving force behind Johnsons Coaches' maintenance excellence. With a wealth of expertise in vehicle care and a passion for precision, John leads our skilled team of technicians, ensuring that every coach is meticulously maintained to guarantee safety, reliability, and comfort for our passengers.
Andy Leyland
Head of Finance
Meet Andy, our diligent and accomplished Head of Finance at Johnsons Coaches. With a wealth of experience in financial management and a keen eye for detail, Andy ensures the financial stability and integrity of our operations, driving our company's success forward with strategic fiscal oversight and expertise.
Gary Harridence
Coach Hire Team Manager
Gary has a long involvement in the coaching industry and has been with Johnsons since 1997. He has a wealth of knowledge of the UK and Europe developed via many years of tour work. He has enthusiasm for travel, history, architecture and the arts which made a career at Johnsons ideal. He has a real passion for the company and strives really hard to make sure every one of our customers is totally satisfied and has all their expectations surpassed.
Barry Cobb
Tours Manager
Barry and his team create the Johnsons brochures and works hard to discover new itineraries to delight our customers with year after year. Barry joined us from Bowens and has over 35 years of experience in creating holidays and is well known in the coach holiday industry. We are delighted to have Barry on Board!
Elizabeth Lee
Reservations and SeeMore Club Manager
Elizabeth joined Johnsons towards the end of 2021 and looks after our holidays and excursions Reservations department - she's a fountain of knowledge when it comes to securing the rooms and finding you the best trips to suit you! More recently, Elizabeth has taken over the responsibility of our SeeMore loyalty club - working to find exclusive days out and organising party weekends for our loyalty club members!
Nicole Smith
PA to the Directors
Nicole is the go to person and is involved in all aspects of the company.
Joining the company in January 2018, Nicole undertakes a variety of administrative, clerical and managerial tasks on behalf of the directors, arranging their diaries and acting as first point of call for any queries.
Bethany Morgan
Marketing Manager
Meet our dynamic Marketing Manager, Bethany, the creative force behind Johnsons Coaches' brand presence and outreach efforts. With a passion for innovative marketing strategies and a commitment to customer engagement, Bethany spearheads initiatives to connect with our audience and promote memorable experiences aboard our coaches.
Bethany is a big Aston Villa fan and some may not know she plays Netball for her local team!
Sam Blatherwick
Traffic Manager
Introducing our dedicated Traffic Manager, Sam, the logistical backbone of Johnsons Coaches. With a meticulous attention to detail and a knack for optimizing routes, Sam ensures seamless operations, maximizing efficiency and punctuality for every journey.
Jo Brown
Group Tours Manager
Jo is one of our longest standing members and has worked in the travel industry since the age of 17. Jo works in the dedicated Group Tours section of Johnsons and can tailor make complete packages together for incoming tours, day excursions as well as UK and Continenetal tours.
Peter Lloyd
Risk, Training and Development Manager
