COACH HIRE, DAY EXCURSIONS AND SOON TO BE HOLIDAYS - ARE BACK ON THE ROAD!

Here at Johnsons we have been working incredibly hard to ensure you, our loyal customers, can enjoy summer safely. Following on from our ‘Good to Go’ status we have implemented our COVID:19 Risk Assessment and Safe Operating Procedures which are now being used in full force on all of our excursions and coach hire departing our depot. As you know, we launched our Summer Departure List to you all back at the end of July and the response was fantastic! It was clear to see that you were eager to enjoy a change of scenery and thank you for putting your trust in us to take you away safely. This week our Express Excursions recommenced with visits to Ilfracombe, Bury St Edmunds, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Norwich, London and Bath; it was fantastic to see all your happy smiley faces ready to board our coach and we loved seeing your quirky mask designs too!

COACH HIRE 

Coach Hire is ‘back on the road’, yes indeed, but we still have plenty of availability! We have been receiving some enquiries and bookings in the past month including providing transport to Alton Towers, Blackpool and Barry Island for local social groups. In addition, we have also been supporting public transport requirements through rail replacement services. Coach hire is a very sustainable, safe and eco-friendly way to move groups so whether you are looking for an employee shuttle transfer service or a one off coach hire do give us a call. However, please remember we are still limited by government regulations, to provide for groups of no more than 30. Day Excursions

It has been a fantastic week for excursions, getting our wheels turning once again! This week we have had 9 coaches depart our yard with so many of you excited for a change of scenery and a day out. We also were able to implement our COVID Safe Operating Procedures with Johnsons Staff available each morning to direct you to the car park, ensure social distancing in our comfort stop, take your temperature before boarding and of course, a welcome hello as you board! We have already started to receive some fantastic reviews from you about our Safe Operating Procedures, our wonderful drivers and your enjoyable days out which can be viewed on our Facebook page, so thank you! On Sunday we also captured your excitement, and ours, on our first departure to Ilfracombe, this video is available to view below. We have also just added some extra Express Excursion departures due to popular demand to Liverpool, Weston Super Mare and Duxford Air Show to name a few, with the weather looking up there is no better time to book. Also… some more exciting news to add to your calendar, we will be releasing a BRAND NEW Day Excursion departure list, so keep an eye out for that one! Holidays – departing soon! 

Following on from the success of our Express Excursion departures this week, we are looking to recommence our holidays in September! We are working incredibly closely with our suppliers to ensure their COVID:19 Risk Assessment’s meet ours to make your holiday and enjoyable one! We still have a great choice of holiday’s available on our departure list including autumn favourite’s such as Llandudno ‘Tinsel & Turkey’, to festive spectacular’s like Christmas in the Borders of Scotland; or why not ring in the New Year and look forward to 2021 with many of our departures. Buses 

Our bus services are continuing to provide excellent service for the community, we are now operating at about 95% of our full service and full details of all routes can be found by clicking here. Getting ready to return to school? Our School bus service passes are now available to purchase by filling out our application form. We are hoping to be back with our full service by September, our website will be updated with full information soon.

Finally…

We still have a long way to go, however, this week has been a very positive one! We are so happy to see those wheels turning again, seeing your happy faces boarding our coach, our fantastic drivers are back to doing what they do best and most of all, contributing to the tourism industry as best we can. The UK has so much to offer, so many beautiful destinations and now more than ever we all need to sit back, relax and enjoy a much deserved holiday. We look forward to seeing you on-board very soon.
