    A leisurely journey to
    Sidmouth with a convenient lunch stop
    en-route.

    Friday

    This morning we visit Bicton
    Park Botanical Gardens. Spanning
    nearly 300 years of horticultural
    history, this magnificent grade I listed
    garden is set in the picturesque Otter
    Valley. The superbly landscaped park
    combines 18th century tranquillity with
    modern amenities to provide all year-round enjoyment including historic
    glasshouses, a countryside museum
    and the Bicton Woodland Railway
    train ride. This morning we visit Bicton

    A free day to relax and enjoy
    this charming and elegant resort.

    Sunday

    A scenic drive today as we
    make our way to beautiful and
    inspirational Buckfast Abbey, located
    on the edge of the Dartmoor National
    Park. We continue to Buckfastleigh
    where we enjoy a return train journey
    on the South Devon Railway. Following
    the River Dart our journey takes us
    through the beautiful Devon Hills and
    beautiful unspoilt countryside.

    Monday

    We travel home with a
    convenient lunch stop en-route.
