Dinosaurs in the Wild is like going on the greatest safari ever, except you’ll get to travel back in time and actually experience what life was like 67 million years ago, surrounded by living dinosaurs.

Jo Brown and Kate Kinson, our Group Tours Manager and Marketing Manager were invited to preview the new attraction heading to the NEC this summer. Read their review below:

“As the attraction is so new, we were not sure what to expect! We were met outside Hall 2 at the NEC and our guide welcomed us and after a quick safety briefing (if you can see a dinosaur, it can see you), we entered the time machine to travel back 67 million years.

After arriving in the cretaceous period, we travelled in a pod to the research lab and saw a mixture of dinosaurs out the window on route with our 3D glasses. When arriving at the lab we visiting various rooms to see the experiments which included feeling dinosaur poo, seeing a T Rex claw and even a live autopsy.

We then saw eggs hatching, and various dinosaurs in cages receiving treatment. There were a few scary moments when a raptor tried to escape! And the guides were great at getting everyone involved and creating an exciting atmosphere.

Then the highlight of the tour was to visit the Look Out where we could see out into the 3D world at various dinosaurs. We won’t spoilt the ending, but it involved us using the escape pods to return to 2017 very quickly.”

Dinosaurs in the Wild is at the NEC between 24^th June and 24^th August 2017 and is a great show for schools or cub and brownie groups to visit.
