Johnsons Coach & Bus Travel are proud to support King Edward VI School’s Race to the Tower this Saturday and are backing the rowing team to win gold!

Students from KES are racing to the top of the RSC tower this Saturday. Three teams are embarking on a six-hour journey; 20 rowers will be rowing from Evesham Boat Club, nearly 22 miles and 9 locks away. Around 30 runners will be running 45 miles through the Cotswold hills and around 15 cyclists will be cycling 78 miles in circles. They will all start at the same time but from very different places and they will all have the same goal – to get back to Stratford-upon-Avon and be the first to the top of the tower.

The competition is fierce but it is not limited to their exertions on the day. Each team is trying to raise as much money as possible to support sports provision at the school. Johnsons is proudly supporting the rowing team on their efforts.

Richard Johnson met the teams on Tuesday as they prepared for the big event this weekend.
