Johnsons Joins World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and Raises £600 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Johnsons Coach Travel proudly supported Macmillan’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ by organising a coffee and cake morning at Henley Golf Club on Thursday 29^th September 2016 and raising £600 for the charity.

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning started in 1990 when a local fundraising group decided to hold a coffee morning where people donated the cost of their coffee and cakes to Macmillan in the process. That seed of an idea has grown to become a nationwide event that has raised over £138 million through coffee mornings in homes, offices and businesses throughout the UK.

In 2015 it raised a record breaking £27.6 million and this year Macmillan is hoping to raise even more!

Staff from Johnsons Coaches donated the cakes served at the coffee morning which was attended by over 100 clients. The Coffee morning also consisted of a raffle and ‘pre – preview’ of the Johnsons NEW holiday brochure.
