Bus Service Covid-19 Recovery

In line with the government restrictions regarding the spread of Covid-19 being eased, Johnsons are pleased to announce we will be increasing service levels on some routes from Monday 1st June 2020.

Details are as follows:

Services 1, 2 & 3:  Buses will operate hourly between Stratford upon Avon and Lower Quinton.  Services between Lower Quinton and Moreton in Marsh will return to pre-covid service levels.

Services 4 & 5:  Buses will operate to a Saturday timetable Monday to Saturdays

Services 6 & 7:  Buses will return to pre-covid service levels with the exception of the 0730 service 6 from Banbury & 0720 service 7 from Shenington.  This service will be amalgamated into a service 7 and operate from Banbury at 0730.  School services 6S & 7S will remain suspended.

Service 27:  Our early morning jourmey from Long Marston and Welford on Avon remains suspended.

Services 77 & 77A:  Buses will return to pre-covid service levels with the exception of the 0600 & 0630 journeys from Leamington and the 1630 journey from Gaydon.

Services 87 & 88:  Buses on route 88 remain suspended.  Route 87 will operate hourly from Solihull to Coventry with every other journey operating as route 87C via Chadwick End.

Service 150:  Buses will continue to operate every two hours between Redditch & Birmingham.  Service between Redditch & Woodrow remains suspended.

Service 150A:  Buses will operate pre-covid service levels between Redditch & Worcester.

Service X7:  This service will remain suspended.

Service X20:  This service will continue to operate two hourly between Stratford upon Avon and Solihull but will return to pre-covid service levels between Solihull & Coventry.

Service X50:  This service will remain suspended.

Stratford Park & Ride:  This service will remain suspended.

We are undertaking additional cleaning on all of our vehicles and providing hand wash for those who wish to use our services.  We will be enforcing reduced capacities on our vehicles to allow for social distancing, these will be clearly displayed on the near side of the bus next to the entrance doors.

We are closely monitoring passenger levels and where required will increase restricted services further to meet demand.
