Johnsons Joins World's Biggest Coffee Morning

Over 80 clients joined us on Wednesday 27^th September 2017 for our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning at Henley Golf Club, and together we raised £450 for this great cause.

Johnsons has supported the Macmillan Cancer Support by holding coffee mornings each year and has raised over £4,000 for the charity over the years.

Organiser Wendy Moore from Johnsons commented: “We are a huge supporter of Macmillan and we encourage our staff to donate a range of delicious cakes – whether they baked it or faked it, we didn’t mind! The Coffee Morning was a perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious for a great cause. Clients were also treated to a sneak preview of the Johnsons Summer 2018 holiday programme.”

The World’s Biggest Coffee morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. Last year alone the charity raised £29.5 million and this year they are aiming to raise even more.

One in three of us will face cancer, and the money we raised at our Coffee Morning will help Macmillan make sure no one has to face it alone. Macmillan provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care. And because cancer affects more than just those facing it, they are there for friends and family too.
