Depart from Henley in the morning and arrive late afternoon at Copthorne Manchester, Salford Quays Hotel. Tea/coffee served on arrival.

Sunday

This morning we make our way to the ITV studios for our Coronation Street Tour. Explore Coronation Streets’ famous cobbles as you stroll past the Roy’s Rolls Café or check out Kev’s car shop, Webster’s Auto Centre. Wander past The Kabin, see the most action-packed pub in the North West, The Rovers Return and even Weatherfield North.
In the afternoon we travel to the Trafford Centre, a large indoor shopping and leisure complex and home to many restaurants where you can enjoy lunch.

Monday

Today we head into the centre of Manchester where you are free to explore at leisure. There are a wide range of activities to explore including museums, art galleries, shops, restaurants and bars. Learn about the industrial revolution at the Science and Industry Museum, take a tour of Manchester Cathedral or see one of the largest collections of art in Britain at the Manchester Art Gallery. Wander through Chinatown, enjoy some retail therapy in the Arndale Centre and bustling Market Street, explore the boutiques and cafes of the Northern Quarter - or simply relax in a coffee shop. There is something for everyone!

Tuesday

After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
