Johnsons Nominated for Two National Awards

Johnsons Coach Travel are delighted to announce that we have been nominated for two national awards; Holiday Programme of the Year and Coach Operator (Large) of the Year.

The British Coach Tourism Awards is the only national awards scheme to specifically focus on coach tourism. It recognises excellence and development across coach tour operators, destinations, visitor attractions and tourism suppliers.

For Holiday Programme of the Year, judges were looking for a programme that demonstrated innovation and creativity. And with the quality and content of entries universally high, the judges were looking for that something special that makes it stand out.

Johnsons Coach Travel’s 2016 Summer Holiday Programme has been shortlisted for the prestigious award. Product Manager, Barry Cobb commented: “We included a massive variety of tours, itineraries, destinations and hotels and we vary our itineraries each year to offer our loyal customers something new. Our new vehicle investment, new couriers and great customer feedback all contribute to an award winning holiday programme that we are immensely proud of.”

Johnsons are also nominated for Coach Operator of the Year (Large Fleets) and are up against some stiff national competition. To be nominated for the award Johnsons proved that they were committed to quality, innovation, training and product development. In 2016 Johnsons demonstrated this by £1.5 million vehicle investment; investment in customer facilities; brochure launch events; sponsoring the Stratford-upon-Avon monopoly board; charity fundraising; launching a new website; hosting a recruitment open day; and developing a new Bike on Board product.

The winners will be announced on Wednesday 22^nd March 2017 at the National Motorcycle Museum and hosted by TV presenter Gethin Jones. Fingers crossed for a successful night!
