Local coach operator, Johnson’s, are to be featured in a fly on the wall, BBC Radio 4 programme entitled “Touring Round Torquay”

Radio presenter Steve Carver, took on the role of a Johnsons courier for the duration of a 6 day holiday to Dawlish and South Devon early in June. John Johnson, Director, Johnsons Coach & Bus Travel said “although we have had no editorial control we readily agreed to the production of this programme and at the time of going to press have not heard the content but we have been assured by Senior Producer Lucy Lunt that the programme captures the atmosphere and the friendliness and enjoyment of a coach tour, put together in a highly entertaining programme,   as seen through Steve’s   eyes whilst he performed his courier duties. We are honoured that Radio 4 chose Johnsons and look forward to listening to the programme when it is transmitted” John added “we are also pleased that the programme highlighted the benefits of a coach holiday to a national audience”

The programme is scheduled to go out on Radio 4 at 11.00am on Friday 17^th July
