Johnsons Driver Clocks up 30 year Record
Johnsons Bus Driver, Kevin Bridges, is celebrating 30 years of accident free PCV driving and has been awarded a special medal by ROSCO (Road Operators safety Council) in recognition of his achievement.
Kevin lives in Redditch, and drives buses, for Johnsons, on routes in the Redditch, South Warwickshire and Birmingham areas.
Kevin said “I love my job, like meeting people, and enjoy the variety that the job offers. It’s a big responsibility driving the general public around particularly on the busy roads that we do have in this region and of course in all weathers. To come through 30 years without a single accident is an achievement but I always try to take care of my vehicle and its passengers. It’s nice to be recognised “
Two other members of Kevin’s family also work at Johnsons, his wife Christine works in the traffic office controlling the bus fleet and one of his sons Simon is also a bus driver.
