It’s a busy time for our local coach operator Johnsons. The new 2008 summer holiday brochure is now being mailed out and preparations are well in hand for the annual holiday show.
The show which normally attracts well over 1000 holiday makers is being held in Henley for the 19th successive year and takes place at Henley in ArdenHigh School on Saturday 27th October,9.00am until 4.30pm.
Customers old and new will once again have the opportunity to book holidays as well as meet staff, drivers, couriers and destination experts who will be able to discuss some of the many holidays on offer.
John Johnson, Director Johnsons Coaches said " The show is the highlight of our business year and our customers look forward to it. Apart from booking holidays there will be an hourly raffle, grand prize draw, film presentations, slide shows as well as a community corner in which local organisations will set up craft and gift stalls. Free Bus services, from 50 boarding points, have also been added to bring customers in from areas outside Henley"
The show follows the launch of their Summer 2008 programme, which is bigger than ever with over 100 different destinations and some 200 departures. There is a mixture of old favourites such as Sidmouth and Bournemouth and Austria as well many new holidays including Arran & Gigha. Theres a lovely lakes holiday - " In the footsteps of Beatrix Potter" and themed breaks cover gardens, aviation and food. Romania, Andorra and a Rhine Cruise are just three of the many new destinations that that have been added for those wishing to travel further afield.
Everyone is welcome and local residents are encouraged to go along and have a look.
