Johnsons enjoy a record summer Henley coach operator Johnsons, of Henley in Arden, have just completed one of the busiest summers in the companies history. At the beginning of August they were one of only three suppliers contracted for the organisation and transportation of some 40,000 scouts and there leaders from all over the world at the World Scout Jamboree in Essex. The company were contracted for 120 vehicles, including 22 of their own and were on site with an administrative and technical back up team for a month. With just a few days respite the company was again operating at full capacity having been appointed to handle the coach transport for the UK School Games which was held at the University of Warwick. On this occasions some 30 vehicles were involved in the day to day transportation of youngsters from their accommodation to the various events as well as transporting them from locations throughout the UK to Warwick.
